Combining two core components of a chain sling, Columbus McKinnon Corporation, a designer, manufacturer and marketer of material handling products, has developed the CM EZ-Connect Master Link & Chain Shortener. Now, rigging professionals can build chain slings easier than ever, it said.

The CM EZ-Connect Master Link & Chain Shortener combines a master link with one chain shortener for single-leg configurations or two chain shorteners for double-leg configurations. The chain shortener design allows the operator to easily adjust the leg length, enabling the sling to be used for various reaches and applications.
