CMCO Update: Mid-Grip, Wire Rope Clip Packing

Columbus McKinnon Corporation (CMCO) has issued a technical bulletin, confirming recent updates to products in the manufacturer’s rigging line.

Federal standards specify that a minimum of two rope clips are required to make a loop in 7/16” or smaller wire rope. However, end users may not know the quantity required and individually packaging these clips has caused confusion. Therefore, to alleviate this confusion, our 1/8” through 7/16” Wire Rope Clips and our 3/16” through 3/8” Mid-Grips will be packed in quantities of two.
