Virginia Crane Commissions Magnet Crane

Virginia Crane has commissioned the third of three Class F, cab-operated, magnet cranes for CMC Seguin, Texas. The previous two cranes provided this year were 50-ton capacity, shipping cranes. They include complex, telescoping, magnet beams.

This scrap charge crane with a magnet beam carrying two 83” scrap magnets is critical for feeding the EAF. Therefore, reliability is paramount. Virginia was selected by CMC Seguin to provide six of their newest cranes over the past 10 years.
