Tompkins Names Top Team

Tompkins International has added to its executive leadership team.

First, Jim Herman has been named chief commercial officer. With more than 30 years of experience, Herman is recognized as a highly impactful and transformational sales and marketing executive within the retail, distribution, manufacturing, and supply chain industries. He has worked strategically in partnership with brands and retailers of all sizes to achieve accelerated growth and supply chain optimization. Herman will lead all business development initiatives for Tompkins International.

Gene Tyndall has been named chief strategy officer. Tyndall is a highly respected supply chain consultant, industry veteran, and thought leader. He has more than 30 years of experience with more than a hundred multinational corporations and domestic companies in strategy development, new process design, technology, and leading practices. Many of the best practices in place today across all industries are due to his leadership. Tyndall will lead the strategic development of the Tompkins International business and marketing initiatives and strategic planning processes.

Jeffrey Godwin has been named chief technology officer. Godwin has more than 20 years of supply chain management, distribution, and transportation experience. He will oversee the development, procurement, integration, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of a suite of integrated, best-of-breed applications designed to deliver rapid value and competitive advantage to all of Tompkins International’s clients.
