Jergens Nylon, Polyester Slings
Jergens has introduced a line of slings designed to provide flexibility across a wide variety of lifting and material handling applications. Manufactured from either nylon or polyester, the range includes endless and eye-and-eye styles available in multiple ply configurations, widths, and lengths.
Slings can also be applied to applications where hoist rings or chains may not be able to be used. Jergens endless slings form a continuous loop and are well suited for multiple configurations including choker, vertical, and basket hitch with a benefit of increased stability.

Manufactured from either nylon or polyester, the range includes endless and eye-and-eye styles available in multiple ply configurations, widths, and lengths.
Additionally, these slings provide versatility and broader weight distribution for more even wear across the sling, increasing the lifespan. Eye-and-eye slings also perform well in these applications while offering a secure stable connection, with twist eye versions further enhancing grip and performance in choker applications.
“We’re seeing more and more applications managed with slings over traditional chains due to the ease of use of the flexible and very light-weight material”, said Chris Spada, Jergens LSG & SFG Technical Sales / Product Manager.
“Adding the slings line has been a natural complement to our numerous other lifting products, allowing Jergens to provide more solutions to our many existing customers”, continued Spada.

Sling material and construction determine things like capacity, wear, and lifespan. For Jergens, that means made in the U.S.A. in accordance with ASME B30.9. Additionally, they are tested to a 5:1 factor of safety with temperature ratings from -40°F (-40°C) to 194°F (90°C).
