Overhead Crane & Hoist Magazine Returns

The publishers of the international overhead lifting industry magazine Hoist are to re-introduce Overhead Crane & Hoist (OCH) magazine as a quarterly, standalone title, aimed solely at the North American market.

The first issue will be published in September 2023, with issue two due in December. Thereafter, the magazine will be published in the spring, summer, fall and winter.

Profiles of key business leaders, case studies, career stories, new products and technologies, and more, will all feature within the pages of the new magazine.

The readership, meanwhile, will consist of lifting industry professionals who need to source lifting equipment, material handling solutions and service providers, alongside crane manufacturers and distributors.

The magazine will be available in both print and digital formats, and will be supported by ochmagazine.com, plus a social media presence on LinkedIn and Instagram.

The first issue will be published in September 2023, with issue two due in December.

If the OCH name seems familiar, that’s because it’s not entirely new – the magazine was once in circulation several years ago. The decision to revive and also update the brand was taken “due to demand from US readers and advertisers – we agreed with them because we also felt the region deserved an exclusively US-focused flagship title”, said Joe Woolerton, OCH and Hoist magazines group sales manager.

Tony Rock, editor of OCH and Hoist magazines, added: “As the only US magazine dedicated to the industrial lifting market, we are excited to be re-introducing OCH.”
