Heavy Lifting Showcase

Engineered Rigging will host its annual Heavy Lifting Showcase on October 6 and 7, featuring best-in-class rigging and machinery moving equipment from around the globe, including Canada, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and the United States.

The event will be held at the company’s Equipment Depot and Fabrication Facility in Russellville, located about 75 miles west of Little Rock.

Engineered Rigging will host its annual Heavy Lifting Showcase on October 6 and 7.

Hands-On, Expert-Led Demonstrations

To bring the “Passport to Possibilities” theme to life, Showcase attendees will progress through 10 interactive stations in small groups to examine equipment up close, ask questions and gain a thorough understanding of the features, capabilities and applications. Demonstrations will be led by heavy lifting experts from featured manufacturers including:

• Officine CLP (Italy): The U.S. debut of the ultra-compact 220-ton LG202 hydraulic gantry. While CLP has been manufacturing gantries since 2001, its equipment is new to the Americas. Attendees will get to see the LG Series’ wireless control system in action.
• Foxtrot Industriel (Canada): Innovative robotic dollies engineered to navigate heavy loads through narrow corridors and tight turns common inside data centers, manufacturing plants and industrial warehouses. This station will feature the new SOLO 60-ton model and the Tango, which uniquely lifts and translates loads.
• Holmatro Hydraulic Solutions (the Netherlands):  The newly released Apeiron hydraulic battery pump, which operates 50% faster under full load and nearly twice the speed of leading competitors. Holmatro will also showcase its ring climbing cylinders, the modern, faster and safer replacement for wooden cribbing, which deliver incremental lifts up to a height of nearly 36 inches.  Holmatro’s 400-ton heavy-duty slide system and lightweight 200-ton skidding system will also be displayed.
• Engineered Rigging (USA): The proprietary ER PS500 Power Slide, a heavy-duty push-pull skidding system with 500-ton load capacity designed to transport heavy machinery into position even across unsupported gaps. Designed and built in Arkansas.
• Fassi (Italy): A demonstration of the compact heavy-duty F660RA knuckle boom crane, capable of lifting 3.4 tons at a 52-foot (16-meter) radius.  Mounted on a custom, compact base designed and fabricated by Engineered Rigging, these versatile cranes can spot a hook in places where traditional cranes cannot reach.
• Power Team (USA): The eSync Synchronous Lift System, a battery-powered, multi-point lifting platform accurate to within one millimeter. Engineered for portability, the system breaks down into three sections for two-person transport.
• Enerpac (the Netherlands and USA): Netherlands-built equipment featuring the flagship JS250 jack-up system which has a load capacity of 275 tons per tower.  Enerpac will also display its 70-ton strand jacks offering high capacity in a compact footprint ideal for space-constrained job sites like industrial plants, offshore rigs and ports.
• Hilman (USA): Highlights from its world-renowned machinery moving equipment including powered dollies, Omni skates and load handling devices.
• Scheuerle (Germany): Self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs) demonstrating the power, precision and versatility that hydraulic trailers bring to heavy lifting operations.
