Engineered Giving Donates to Humanity

Engineered Rigging, a global leader in heavy lift and rigging solutions, announced that its philanthropic foundation, Engineered Giving, has donated $10,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Pope County.

The funds will help support a new home being built for a disabled veteran and his two young daughters. Engineered Rigging employees will also contribute hands-on volunteer hours during the construction of the home.

“Habitat for Humanity believes that strong communities are built one family at a time. With the generous support of Engineered Rigging, we will make home ownership a reality for the Hentschel family. We invite other local employers to support this incredible Veteran Build,” said Kacie Talley, executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Pope County.

On May 14, a groundbreaking ceremony (see photo) was held at the property in Russellville with the Hentschel family, Engineered Rigging team members and Habitat for Humanity volunteers and local supporters.

Christopher Cox, PE, president of Engineered Rigging, added, “While lifting heavy objects is an everyday occurrence at Engineered Rigging, uplifting a family is an incredibly special opportunity. Our partnership with Habitat for Humanity gives meaning to our work and advances our mission to make a difference in our community.”

The funds donated will help support a new home being built for a disabled veteran and his two young daughters.

Habitat for Humanity of Pope County is an independent entity of Habitat for Humanity International, the largest nonprofit builder of homes for families worldwide.
