DICA Expands, Hires Hipple

DICA has expanded its Urbandale, Iowa, headquarters by building out additional manufacturing and office space within its existing facility.

Over the coming months, the newly developed area will be outfitted to increase production capacity, streamline operations, and provide room for staff growth.

“We currently are using only half of the total 60,000 sq. ft. under roof space, but we are now expanding into 50,000 sq. ft,” said Kris Koberg, CEO of DICA.

“When we moved into our new headquarters three years ago, it was with the intention of growing into it over time. Due to demand and product expansion, the need for additional space was accelerated to help ensure we can continue meeting ground support and stabilization needs for years to come.”

With these improvements, DICA will be able to maintain higher inventory levels and deliver products with greater speed.

The expansion also includes investments in specialized manufacturing equipment, which will support the company’s ability to expand its product offerings. 

In addition to facility improvements, DICA is actively adding to its sales team.

Most recently, DICA welcomed Harrison Hipple as Account Manager, Crane & Rigging.

Hipple brings experience in crane sales and product management, gained during more than 15 years at The Manitowoc Company.

His specialized expertise will play a key role in strengthening customer support and developing tailored solutions for crane rental customers.

“Harrison’s deep knowledge of the crane industry is an invaluable asset to our team,” said Koberg.

“His subject matter expertise ensures we continue to provide the best support possible to crane owners and operators who rely on our engineered outrigger pads and crane mats.”
