CRC Canada Workshop Preview

The 2015 Crane & Rigging Conference Canada event, hosted by Heartland Construction Division and supported by the Canadian Hoisting & Rigging Safety Council, is about more than just lectures.

The 9-10 November Edmonton conference includes panel discussions and interactive workshops so that attendees can get engaged with crane and rigging regulators, safety experts, and consultants.

One such workshop is presented by Industrial Training International, event partner. This hands-on accident investigation workshop will be led by Joe Kuzar, ITI assistant technical director.

Using sketches, witness accounts, sheriff’s reports, and inspection documents, participants will analyze the root cause of a major overhead crane and rigging accident, as well as the poor and contradictory operating practices that conflict with the organization’s policies and the local jurisdiction’s laws.
