Connector Magazine Earns Superstar Award from Construction Marketing Association

The Steel Erectors Association of America (SEAA) was recently recognized by the Construction Marketing Association (CMA) annual STAR Awards for marketing excellence in the construction industry.

Connector, a quarterly magazine for steel erectors, fabricators and contractors working in steel construction, received a 2017 Superstar Award in the Collateral/Trade Magazine category. The CMA STAR awards recognize excellence in 16 marketing categories and 80 sub-categories, including branding, literature, communications, trade shows, and publicity. “The CMA STAR Awards showcase the very best in marketing, effectiveness and creative execution,” said Neil Brown, CMA Chairman.

In 2017, SEAA re-launched Connector, turning over all editorial management, circulation development, and advertising sales to a third-party publishing partner. The redesigned magazine provides increased value for members and is now being used as a new member recruiting tool. “Connector reflects SEAA’s efforts to provide relevant and focused discussion on issues facing steel erection contractors. We congratulate the team, which includes our publishing partners and the member volunteers who make up the Media Advisory Committee, for their efforts,” said Tom Underhill, Executive Director.
