Caldwell Hires Director of Manufacturing
The Caldwell Group Inc. has named Patrick Murphy director of manufacturing and quality.
Murphy joins Caldwell with extensive manufacturing leadership experience, most recently serving as vice president of operations and purchasing at IFH Group Inc., a Rock Falls, Illinois-based manufacturer of custom fuel tanks and hydraulic reservoirs for off-road and specialty equipment.
Doug Stitt, president and CEO at Caldwell, said: “Pat brings extensive manufacturing leadership experience in operations, quality management, continuous improvement, and team development. He has a proven record of improving safety, quality, performance, and employee engagement. His leadership style emphasizes accountability, open communication, continuous learning, and building strong, collaborative teams.”
The newly created role gives Murphy a broad remit across Caldwell’s manufacturing and operational functions. Manufacturing, warehouse and distribution, scheduling, maintenance, quality and safety teams will report directly to Murphy, working closely with Thaddeus Grzeskowiak, who continues as plant manager.

Murphy said: “I see this role as touching every corner of the business and our product line, so one of my first priorities will be to learn as much as I can about the organization and how we can continue to support its success. There is a lot of positive feedback in the market about both our products and employee experiences, and I want to build on that foundation.
“I’ve also been very impressed by the way Caldwell invests in and engages its people. That commitment was a significant part of my decision to join, and I’m excited to be part of an organization that puts such a strong emphasis on its people and their development.”
