Creform Corporation has designed a mobile kitting cart with an open design that helps promote quick visual inventory and fast part retrieval. The cart, an innovative and efficient storage solution, helps organize, kit and transport in-process parts and subassemblies among supermarket / warehouse areas and assembly / production lines. 

The mobile kitting cart can be used across multiple industry platforms, including industrial equipment, aerospace, electro-mechanical, and automotive in manufacturing, warehouse, logistic and point-of-use delivery applications, while at the same time supports 5S, management.

The organized layout and dedicated compartments of the cart ensure damage free handling and supports easy visual inventory management. It is lightweight yet robust and suitable for kitting, assembly support, order picking, and more.

The cart is moved from the kitting area to the point of assembly. Other alternative uses besides kitting are assembly line support and order picking.    

This cart Features four custom level shelf sections on the front presentation of the cart and a vertical storage section on the side with two custom plastic cutout dividers for vertical storage. 

The vertical storage section has lightweight plastic walls for containment and provides space for larger parts that could not fit on the flat shelving. The HDPE shelving has containment around the shelf perimeters to prevent parts from shifting during transport. It also is ideal for temporary storage of all the parts needed for a job and has four total-lock, bolt-on urethane casters for secure and stationary positioning and easy, stable and safe movement and positioning maneuverability. The structure can be built on feet rather than wheels.

The cart’s dimensions are 36″ W x 36″ D x 38″ T and is designed to hold up to 500 lb. The parts being stored on the cart are fairly light making the cart easy to maneuver within the work areas. 

As with all Creform carts, higher capacity and custom cart sizes and configurations are possible with the Creform system of 28 mm, 32 mm and 42 mm plastic-coated steel pipes and metal joints. The color of the cart is blue, but a wide variety of pipe color options are available.

Upgrade hitches are available for AGV or tugger delivery. Accessories include hooks, label holders for shelf levels or even shelf positions, pockets for paperwork, writing surface with clip boards just to name a few. Creform carts are available as a kit, assembled structure or in component form for a complete DIY solution. Built with clamp together metal joints for easy changes or repairs.
