Happy Holidays; Onwards & Upwards in 2015

A busy year culminated in the successful launch of findadistributor.com and subsequent press coverage across North America’s esteemed material handling and supply chain media.
I am extremely grateful to Industrial Distribution, MFR Tech, Internet Retailer, Wire Rope Exchange, Material Handling Network and many more who published our press releases and/or took the time to interview me to learn more about the new online directory of distributors and dealers selling material handling, supply chain and logistics equipment, products and services.
It was interesting to speak to experienced material handling editors and journalists about the challenges end users face in the sectors they cover to find the right solutions to their lifting, moving or storage requirements from a local supplier. Furthermore, it is hugely exciting to think that findadistributor.com has been widely welcomed as a solution.
Motivated by the success of 2014, we look forward to next year as we raise the profile of the website and welcome many more suppliers and users to our community.
We will shortly be booking our flights to Chicago for ProMat 2015, which takes place 23-26 March at McCormick Place South. It will be a great platform to launch a number of marketing campaigns and catch up with the industry’s key players at a world class trade event staged by the MHI.
findadistributor.com connects material handling equipment distributors and dealers with end users consuming their equipment. Companies providing a product or service related to the lifting, movement and storage of materials in North America, can upload their own details via a simple payment procedure to be found by end users looking for the right equipment for the job.
Conveyors and conveying equipment; overhead traveling cranes, hoists, and monorail systems; industrial lift trucks and stackers; mezzanines, racking and storage products, and other material handling equipment feature in searches.
A newsstand of trade journals and a daily news service are also popular features, whilst the Twitter account—@FADnetwork—is welcoming new followers every day.
