Genie Celebrates 60 Years
Genie will celebrate its 60th Anniversary in 2026 by showcasing innovations that demonstrate why they have been an industry leader for the last 60 years, and will continue to be long into the future. Below are highlights of the new product releases and service launches to be featured at two upcoming exhibitions.
- At the ARA Show, March 2-4 in Orlando, Florida, Genie will be located at Booth 2070.
- During CONEXPO-CON/AGG, March 3-7 in Las Vegas, Nevada, attendees can find Genie in the Silver Lot at Terex booth SV2357.
The ARA Show
Genie Recon, Genie’s new reconditioning business, will make its public debut at ARA. Genie will feature a reconditioned S®-65 boom lift, providing customers with an opportunity to see the end results of the reconditioning process, which mirrors the same quality benchmarks applied to new equipment, delivering dependable outcomes every time.

Genie Assist Chat Agent is an AI-powered support tool, provides real-time, context-aware assistance to operators, technicians, and rental partners.
Using Genie Genuine Parts and quality assurance processes, each machine undergoes detailed inspection, functional testing, and targeted upgrades to ensure like-new consistent performance, safety, and reliability. Every reconditioned unit is backed by a three-year warranty.
Genie S®-65 and S-85 telescopic boom lifts are now available as reconditioned units for customers in North America.
Genie 360 service and support includes digital tools designed to give customers the flexibility to manage their service needs in ways that work for best for each company through the entire lifecycle of the equipment.

Introduced in 2025, QR Code decals, included on new machines, provide equipment-specific access to documentation.
“Genie 360 digital initiatives are intended to make doing business easier for fleet owners by delivering intuitive and holistic aftermarket service and support,” said Dana Peters, Global Director, Digital Services, Genie.
New features, including features that can be demoed at the ARA Show, continue to simplify, automate, and deliver predictive service.
Genie will continue to roll out new features through 2026 that build on these recent releases:
Genie Serial Hub QR Codes. Introduced in 2025, QR Code decals, included on new machines, provide equipment-specific access to documentation, service history, and troubleshooting guides. QR code decals are also available as aftermarket parts and are retrofittable to any prior generation of Genie equipment.
Genie Assist Chat Agent, an AI-powered support tool, provides real-time, context-aware assistance to operators, technicians, and rental partners—streamlining issue resolution and enhancing user experience. Now available in the mobile app, the Genie Assist chatbot responds to voice activation so technicians can access information hands-free.

Lanyard Alert is a secondary guarding system designed to increase compliance with boom lift fall-arrest requirements.
Several new boom and scissor lift accessories will be showcased at The ARA Show. Development of Lift Guard™ accessories was guided by the goal of increasing operator awareness, encouraging proactive safety habits, and delivering user-friendly solutions.

Zone Lighting increases perimeter awareness for scissor lift operators by projecting red laser boundary lines around the chassis, marking the work-zone perimeter.
Integrated Access Deck provides an additional 19.7 inches of height inside a fully enclosed railing on micro scissors. The system easily folds out of the way when not in use to provide more platform workspace.
CONEXPO/CON-AGG
At CONEXPO/CON-AGG, Genie will showcase how quality improvements and innovations in powertrains are making equipment more efficient, reducing maintenance, and lowering the total cost of ownership. On display will be the S®-85 XC™ FE boom lift and a model from Genie’s next-generation GS™ scissor lift product family.

“Through our commitment to Quality By Design, Genie equipment delivers a low total cost of ownership and strong residual value at the end of the machine’s first life cycle,” said Dominik Damm, Director, Product Management Booms Portfolio.
As an example, the S-85 XC FE and E models featured more than 80 quality improvements that reduce maintenance, resulting in a 15% reduction in ownership costs for E electric machines, and a 6% reduction for FE hybrid machines.
Genie is also focused on the application of technology to make sure these boom lifts can stand the test of decades of operation in the field. What you see in the Genie S-85 XC FE is a prototypical design for the future. Look for future releases to be ever more intuitive with advanced sensors, new safety features, and reduced service requirements.
While Genie offers customers the choice of electric, hybrid, or internal combustion power, its advanced lithium-ion electric and hybrid AC E-Drive systems deliver diesel-like performance with lower noise, fewer emissions, and reduced total cost of ownership. Genie will continue to prioritize power-source flexibility.
