Fairlane Products, a supplier of workholding technologies and machine tool components, provides a wide range of Crane Stop bumpers for high-load capacity, abrasion resistance and for repeated impacts while protecting parts from being marred, scratched or otherwise damaged during the manufacturing process.

The name Crane Stop is derived from an industrial term that refers to a type of application relative to an overhead crane, or similar traveling equipment. A crane stop would be positioned at or near the end of an allowable travel path, and the stop would be the final stop. 

Like all Fairlane Product bumpers, Crane Stop bumpers are designed to guard, stop, align, and protect in heavy-duty applications such as stopping moving industrial equipment. They are a larger size when compared to others in the Fairlane line and can serve for heavier duty needs. They are designed to integrate well into an industrial application. 

The Crane Stop bumpers come in two styles: either as molded urethane bonded to steel plate or bonded to external steel threaded stud.  Urethane offers high resistance, strength and load bearing capacity, as well as abrasion resistance to ozone and oxygen and for repeated impacts.

The molded urethane bumpers, available in sizes from 2 to 4 in., are bonded to steel plate that is 2.5 to 5 in. square, in 60 and 80 durometer and in blue or red colors. 

The round bumpers that are bonded to a threaded steel stud are available in 1 to 4 in, sizes in 40 to 80 durometer. The length of the urethane bumper also runs from 1 to 4 in. The thread is available in sizes from 5/16-18 to 1/2-13 with lengths of 7/8 to 1 5/16 in. They are available in black, red and blue colors. 

In addition to Crane Stop bumpers, Fairlane Products also designs rectangular, square and round bumpers, and designs and manufactures a wide range of workholding and positioning components, rollers, replaceable grippers, rest pads, Swivots®, covered bearings, quick releases ball lock pins, workholding grippers, TG GripSerts and GP-series gripper pads.
