YOKE Sponsors LiftEx, Shortlisted for Awards

YOKE Industrial Corp. will once again be Gold Sponsor at LiftEx, which takes place 18-19 November at Exhibition Centre Liverpool, UK. Its BlueSupra digital chips have also been shortlisted for three awards. See YOKE at Stand 61.

LiftEx is powered by the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), which presents annual awards after the first day of the show. BlueSupra is among finalists in the Excellence in Service Innovation; Sustainability Excellence Award; and Excellence in Product Innovation categories. Winners will be crowned at a special gala ceremony on Tuesday 18 November at Anfield — the home of Liverpool Football Club.

Through utilisation of BlueSupra, end users of lifting and other equipment can keep up with today’s rigorous requirements. LiftEx attendees can visit YOKE to learn more about BlueSupra and a complete line of lifting and rigging products, all equipped with Digital Product Passports (DPP), as industry conforms to the European Union’s Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR).

YOKE’s expansive catalogue includes Grade 80 and Grade 100 lifting chain fittings; swivel hoist hooks; shackles; angular contact swivels; wire rope clips; and lifting points. It integrates digital chips within every item, allowing end users to utilise a DPP throughout the product lifecycle — without any additional tooling.

Steven Hong, president at YOKE, said: “The small digital chips — shortlisted in three keenly contested award categories — unlock unlimited possibilities, ensuring regulatory compliance, while improving traceability and asset management efficiency. We continue to champion the ESPR and detect LEEA’s increasing support for the DPP concept. We believe our DPP strategy positions the LiftEx community at the forefront of the industry, which makes our product offering and this exhibit equally compelling.

“For small and medium-sized companies, DPP compliant practices create a fairer playing field. By sharing reliable product information, even modest businesses can build stronger trust with partners and customers. This is a chance to stand out — not just by what you produce, but by how open and responsible you are.”

BlueSupra digital chips integrate with RiConnect Inc.’s Asset Management Platform, which helps manufacturers, inspection authorities, and field personnel solve common asset management challenges. By moving to paperless systems, companies can improve the accuracy of maintenance, safety checks, incident reports, and regulatory compliance, while supporting seamless information sharing.

YOKE has campaigned for RFID and Software as a Service (SaaS) to be more widely utilised by the lifting industry for many years. Today, RiConnect can combine DPP with SaaS in a unique DPPaaS concept. DPPaaS (Digital Product Passports as a Service) supports customers by providing DPP in a more accessible and cost-effective way through a new cloud-based SaaS model.
