Carolina Handling E-commerce Rental Platform
Carolina Handling, the exclusive Raymond Solutions and Support Center for North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida’s Central Time Zone, has launched a new e-commerce-style rental experience designed to simplify how customers find and request material handling equipment.
Developed by Carolina Handling’s Marketing team, the online platform allows customers to browse commonly rented equipment, compare specifications such as load capacity, lift height, and battery type, and build a cart tailored to their operational needs.
“Customers increasingly expect the same kind of simple, convenient experience in their business interactions that they have in their everyday lives,” said Josue Vermes, Senior Marketing Manager at Carolina Handling.
“We saw an opportunity to bring that e-commerce experience into material handling. Giving customers more information upfront, and an easier way to tell us exactly what they need, removes friction and saves them time.”
Rather than submitting a general contact form, customers can identify specific equipment before sending an inquiry, giving Carolina Handling’s rental team more information about their needs from the start. The equipment featured online represents a selection of Carolina Handling’s broader rental fleet, with additional options available through its rental team.
The mobile-friendly platform also allows customers to flag urgent rental needs, creating a more direct path from equipment search to rental inquiry.

The online platform allows customers to browse commonly rented equipment, compare specifications such as load capacity, lift height, and battery type, and build a cart tailored to their operational needs.
“Our customers are managing fast-moving operations, and equipment needs don’t always arise when they’re sitting at a desk,” Vermes said.
“This gives them a simpler way to find what they need and connect with our team to keep their operation moving.”
The new platform gives customers more flexibility in how they engage with Carolina Handling, including the ability to research equipment before connecting with the rental team.
“We want to meet customers where they are,” Vermes said.
“Some want to talk with someone right away, while others prefer to do their own research first. Being a good partner means giving customers both options and making it easy for them to get the information and support they need.”
