Mazzella Companies<\/a> has acquired Contractors & Industrial Supply Co. Inc. (CIS).<\/p>\n

The acquisition further strengthens Mazzella<\/a>\u2019s footprint in Tennessee and Alabama and reinforces Mazzella<\/a>\u2019s commitment to be a one-stop resource for lifting, crane service, cranes, and rigging services and solutions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Contractors & Industrial Supply Co., Inc. (CIS) was founded in 1970 by Hank Schiller and serves a variety of industries including Manufacturing, Construction, Steel, Marine, Electrode Handling, and Light and Sound. CIS is a full-service rigging supplier including custom lifting slings, fall protection devices, hoists, cranes, and rigging systems. Effective immediately, Contractors & Industrial Supply Co., Inc. will operate as Mazzella<\/a> CIS. Terms of the transaction are not being disclosed.<\/p>\n

\u201cCIS will complement the wide range of rigging products and services that Mazzella Companies<\/a> offers. Both companies are committed to delivering our customers with expertise and the safest and most effective overhead lifting and rigging solutions,\u201d says Tony Mazzella, CEO of Mazzella Companies.<\/p>\n

This acquisition will provide Mazzella<\/a> with a strategic location in Nashville, TN and will strengthen their other central U.S. locations in Memphis, Chattanooga, Oklahoma City, Dallas, and Birmingham.<\/p>\n
