Westfalia Technologies Inc.<\/a>, a provider of logistics solutions for manufacturers and distributors, has confirmed that its automation technology will be installed in the new\u00a0Ken\u2019s Foods Inc. warehouse located in McDonough, GA.<\/p>\n

Westfalia<\/a>\u2019s automated storage\/retrieval system (AS\/RS) and\u00a0Savanna.NET Warehouse Execution System (WES)\u00a0will fully automate the food manufacturing company\u2019s 343K sq. ft. facility. This will be Ken\u2019s Foods\u2019 second location that incorporates Westfalia<\/a>\u2019s warehouse automation solutions.<\/p>\n

Ken\u2019s Foods produces salad dressings, sauces, and marinades for a global network of customers. Westfalia<\/a>\u2019s technology will provide a reliable, temperature-controlled warehousing environment with a customized solution addressing all material handling, automatic layer picking and integrated case picking requirements, while delivering almost zero touches from receiving to shipping.<\/p>\n

The Savanna.NET WES will streamline operations and provide seamless software integration between Ken\u2019s Foods\u2019 ERP system as well as all storage, order selection, and material flow automation.<\/p>\n
