Hiab, part of Cargotec<\/a>, has received three large orders for a combined value of approx. $15 million for Moffett truck-mounted forklifts and Hiab loader cranes in the US. The orders will be booked in Cargotec\u2019s Q3 2021 order intake.<\/p>\n

Two nationwide builders’ supply companies placed two separate orders for Moffett truck-mounted forklifts worth $8.7 million and heavy range Hiab loader cranes for $4.3 million.<\/p>\n

In addition, a liquified gas distributor has placed an order for a value of $2 million for\u00a0Hiab X-HiDuo 072 and\u00a0Hiab X-HiDuo 082 loader cranes from the light range. The cranes offer great performance, flexibility and high levels of safety in a light crane body.<\/p>\n

\u201cBulky and hazardous but essential energy items alike can be delivered safely and efficiently with Hiab\u2019s equipment. We are very pleased that some of the largest names in their industries have put their faith in Hiab to deliver on their promises to their customers,\u201d says Jani Koskinen, Senior Manager Strategic Accounts, Hiab.<\/p>\n

To meet US and international demand for truck-mounted forklifts, Hiab will expand manufacturing to the US. Simultaneously the production capacity in Dundalk is being increased and a new multi-assembly unit planned. The second Hiab production facility for truck mounted forklifts will be established in Streetsboro, Ohio, where WALTCO tail lifts are manufactured.<\/p>\n
