Dematic<\/a> has named Michael Larsson executive vice president Dematic Americas<\/a> region; and Michael Wu, managing director of Dematic<\/a> China.<\/p>\n

Larsson joins Dematic<\/a> from ABB, where he most recently served as senior vice president and managing director of automotive in ABB\u2019s robotics and discrete automation business unit.<\/p>\n

Before that role, Larsson also served as a group vice president and head of robot systems, leading ABB\u2019s turnkey solutions offerings to customers across global geographies in electronics, automotive, aerospace, and consumer goods clients.<\/p>\n

Having lived and worked on four continents, Larsson brings a diverse background to Dematic<\/a>. Larsson succeeds Bernard Biolchini, who will return to a leadership role in Dematic<\/a>\u2019s Europe region.<\/p>\n

Wu joins the company from Haier, where he led its industrial intelligence and automation division. Wu has more than 21 years of results-driven leadership roles in industrial electrical and automation, intelligent manufacturing, digital transformation, and industrial internet sectors.<\/p>\n

The addition of Wu is a continuation of the growth strategy to localize the leadership team in China. Wu succeeds Jens Hardenacke, who will work closely with him over the next several months to ensure a smooth transition and execution of several key projects in the region.<\/p>\n
