Fairfax, Virginia-based The National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO)<\/a> and the First National Company (FNRCO) have signed a contractual agreement for the certification of crane operators, riggers, and signalpersons in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The five-year agreement was signed at the U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council (USSABC) corporate office in Vienna, Virginia, December 18, 2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cNCCCO<\/a> is excited about having FRNCO as a partner and the opportunity presented by this international agreement to bring a higher level of safety to the construction industry in Saudi Arabia,\u201d said NCCCO<\/a> CEO, Thom Sicklesteel. \u201cFNRCO is committed to providing a high level of training for crane professionals to prepare them for the NCCCO<\/a> exams which will raise the skill levels and safety standards at work sites throughout the Kingdom.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFRNCO is confident that NCCCO<\/a>\u2019s proven certification exams and test integrity procedures will provide the anticipated safety benefits over the course of this long-term agreement,\u201d said FNRCO Engr. Abdullah Bani Hameem, Eastern Regions Executive Manager.<\/p>\n

Under the terms of the agreement, NCCCO<\/a> Mobile Crane Operator, Rigger, and Signalperson exams will be made available at numerous locations throughout Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. NCCCO<\/a>\u2019s computer-based testing partner PSI will provide the facilities for written exam administrations, which will be provided in English.<\/p>\n

NCCCO<\/a> will also provide the expertise to train Practical Examiners and set up practical test sites.
