{"id":6756,"date":"2019-08-15T12:30:28","date_gmt":"2019-08-15T12:30:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/news\/?p=6756"},"modified":"2019-08-15T12:30:28","modified_gmt":"2019-08-15T12:30:28","slug":"cema-reports-june-orders-drop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/news\/cema-reports-june-orders-drop\/","title":{"rendered":"CEMA Reports June Orders Drop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/conveyor-equipment-manufacturers-association\/\">Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA)<\/a> reported that its June 2019 Booked Orders decreased 60.1% when compared to June 2018 orders.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>June 2019 booked orders when compared to May 2019 booked orders down up 1.8%.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>June Booked Orders were down 8.0% for Bulk Handling Equipment and up 1.3% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to May.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/conveyor-equipment-manufacturers-association\/\">CEMA<\/a>\u2019s June 2019 Billed Sales (shipments) decreased by 20.7% when compared to June 2018 sales.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>June 2019 billed sales when compared to May billed sales were down 17.8%.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>June Billed Sales were down 6.9% for Bulk Handling Equipment and down 21.3% for Unit Handling Equipment when compared to May.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/conveyor-equipment-manufacturers-association\/\">CEMA<\/a>\u2019s company history dates back to 1933, where it has been successfully providing information for the industry.
