The value of the transaction is not disclosed.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The acquisition, effective 2 January 2019, includes the manufacturing facility and headquarters, co-located in Hampshire, UK that will become <a href=\"http:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/the-crosby-group\/\">Crosby<\/a>\u2019s center of excellence for load monitoring and measurement, in addition to key personnel based in the U.S.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>David Ayling, formerly CEO at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/straightpoint\/\">SP<\/a>, will step into a new role overseeing sales, marketing, and product development functions for all load monitoring equipment. Safe lifting is in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/the-crosby-group\/\">Crosby<\/a>\u2019s DNA and load monitoring is a critical part of that equation.
