The new building adds to the recently expanded 150,000 sq. ft. building to accommodate increased\u00a0sales volume\u00a0and to streamline operations. This includes\u00a0reduced lead times and improved manufacturing processes for existing product offerings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a group effort that has gotten us to this next plateau,\u201c said Kevin Risch, president. \u201cThe <a href=\"http:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/mallard-manufacturing\/\">Mallard<\/a> team, from engineering and operations to sales and our distribution network, has seen real excitement over our product and manufacturing enhancements.\u00a0The results are measurable and it\u2019s a good place to be at this point in the new year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key features:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Industrial powder coat oven<\/li>\n<li>Plasma cutter<\/li>\n<li>Streamlined manufacturing<\/li>\n<li>Additional office space<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The centerpiece of the new facility is an industrial powder coat oven which enables batch processing for powder coating and ultimately produces a more uniform and durable finish, while saving worker time and fuel expenses.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/mallard-manufacturing\/\">Mallard<\/a> is using the new facility to cut lead times with a more streamlined, vertically integrated, manufacturing process. The new building provides room to reorganize existing space and thereby improve upon the full roller pallet flow assembly process, as one example.<\/p>\n<p>Also, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/mallard-manufacturing\/\">Mallard<\/a> has introduced a new plasma cutter in the welding department.
