Harold King, president of Bishop Lifting Products<\/a> and Delta Rigging & Tools<\/a>, has reached out to customers, suppliers and friends of the business, having reopened last week following Hurricane Harvey, which formed on 24 August. In an email communication, he said:<\/p>\n

\u201cBishop Lifting Products<\/a> and Delta Rigging & Tools<\/a> have made it through Hurricane Harvey and the Houston, Angleton and Sulphur offices officially reopened for business\u00a0on Thursday 31 August. Hurricane Harvey hit Texas harder than expected, impacting millions, displacing hundreds of thousands.\u00a0We\u00a0prepared prior to the storm and\u00a0remained\u00a0in constant contact with our employees\u00a0throughout\u00a0the storm. All of our employees are safe, but many have water damage to their homes and cars, and few have lost everything.<\/p>\n

Please contact us in regards to new or existing orders. Normal shipments and orders may take longer due to road conditions, freight delays and facility closures.\u00a0Our other locations are helping with production to support our customers and utilizing\u00a0inventory within our groups to minimize supply chain disruptions. Our team will do everything to help you meet your project deadlines.<\/p>\n
