Crane Institute of America (CIA)<\/a> has launched a new handbook, titled Overhead Cranes. Color graphics clearly illustrate information about bridge cranes, gantry cranes, monorail systems, and underhung hoists. The handbook focuses on training requirements, pre-shift inspection, operation, hoisting personnel, and more.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis handbook is a must-have for anyone working with overhead cranes,\u201d said author and CIA<\/a> president Jim Headley. \u201cIt is an excellent resource as a safety reference or to use as a training aid.\u201d CIA<\/a> has more than half a million books in print. Handbooks and other materials are available in the online store at www.craneinstitute.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n
