PLASA has announced that Dinna Myers will receive its highest honor, the Eva Swan Award, which recognizes exceptional long-term commitment to the association. The award will be presented at PLASA\u2019s Behind the Scenes Happy Hour on Thursday 20 November 20th, the evening before the LDI Show<\/a>. The event will take place from 6-8pm at the Westgate Las Vegas (formerly the Las Vegas Hotel).
\nThe Swan Award is presented to a member who has put forth exceptional efforts in time, expertise and personal resources, and has been instrumental in shaping the strategic direction and contributing to the realization of the association\u2019s mission. Dinna Myers has gone above and beyond this criteria to create a stronger, better industry for all.
\nMyers, the director of sales and marketing at Musson Theatrical, has made a significant impact on the association during her many years of service on committees and the board including terms as Dealer Representative and Secretary. Instrumental in crafting membership campaigns, setting communications strategies, and developing member benefits, her work with ESTA, now PLASA, has helped create\u00a0the largest and most diverse community of entertainment technology companies and professionals.
\nTickets are still available for the Behind the Scenes Happy Hour hosted by PLASA to benefit the Behind the Scenes charity. Tickets are currently $50 per person, or $60 per person the day of the event.
