Ametek Inc.<\/a> has elected Eleanor Lukens as vice president and general manager of the measurement and power systems division within Ametek Aerospace & Defense.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am pleased to announce Eleanor\u2019s promotion,\u201d said David A. Zapico, CEO. \u201cEleanor brings excellent leadership skills, a broad knowledge of our aerospace business, a strong operational background, and extensive engineering experience to her new position. We expect her to play a key role in the continued growth of our measurement and power systems business.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ms. Lukens has nearly 30 years of experience with Ametek<\/a> businesses. She joined the company in 1999 with the acquisition of Drexelbrook Engineering, where she held positions, including director of engineering and director of operations, since 1986.<\/p>\n

She was named vice president of the Ametek<\/a> test business unit in 2008 and promoted in 2012 to her most recent position as vice president and business unit manager of Hughes-Treitler within Ametek Aerospace & Defense.<\/p>\n
