This buy-back program is in line with the new capital allocation principles defined by the company. The main terms of the buy-back program are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The maximum monetary amount to be used for the program is \u20ac100m (approx. $114m), however 4,250,000 shares at maximum, which technical maximum would correspond to approximately 1.8% of the total number of shares.<\/li>\n<li>The shares will be repurchased in public trading on Nasdaq Helsinki otherwise than in proportion to the existing shareholdings of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/konecranes-inc\/\">Konecranes<\/a>\u2019 shareholders, at the market price quoted at the time of purchase on Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd, using the Company\u2019s unrestricted equity.<\/li>\n<li>The shares shall be repurchased to reduce <a href=\"https:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/konecranes-inc\/\">Konecranes<\/a>\u2019 capital.<\/li>\n<li>The share buy-back program shall commence on November 1, 2026, at the earliest, and end by March 17, 2027, at the latest. Within the limits of the program, the broker will carry out the purchases at maximum \u20ac25m (approx. $28.5m) during any given calendar month. Repurchased shares will be cancelled at the latest after the program has ended.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The repurchases will be carried out in accordance with the so-called safe harbour rules referred to in Article 5 of the EU Market Abuse Regulation (EU N:o 596\/2014). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/konecranes-inc\/\">Konecranes<\/a> has appointed a third-party broker as the lead manager for the buyback program.
