Mazzella<\/a> is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Executive Vice Presidents and an evolution in its leadership structure, reflecting the company’s renewed commitment to becoming a customer-first, service-first organization.<\/p>\n

Rick Smith has joined Mazzella<\/a> as Executive Vice President of Service and a new member of the Leadership Team. A U.S. Navy veteran with decades of progressive leadership across the crane service and industrial aftermarket industries, Smith has a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing service organizations. In his new role, he will focus on systemizing Mazzella<\/a>‘s service operation and establishing standard operating procedures, defining measurable KPIs, and positioning the team for consistent, scalable performance.<\/p>\n

Mark Erny has also joined Mazzella<\/a> as Executive Vice President of Cranes and a new member of the Leadership Team. Erny brings rare, end-to-end expertise across the overhead cranes category, spanning high-end process equipment, workstation cranes, and tooling centers. In addition to leading Mazzella<\/a>‘s crane manufacturing and fabrication facilities, Erny will provide strategic oversight of the company’s Below-the-Hook product line \u2014 bringing the expertise, collaborative approach, and execution-focused leadership the role demands.<\/p>\n

Dan Carmichael has been named Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Carmichael brings 25+ years of overhead lifting and rigging experience to the role, with a career that spans sales, operations, and service leadership across the industry. Since joining Mazzella<\/a> in 2019, he has built a reputation for customer focus and trusted relationship-building at every level. In his expanded role, Carmichael will lead Mazzella<\/a>‘s commercial operations with a mandate that extends beyond traditional sales leadership \u2014 driving revenue growth, expanding market share, strengthening vendor partnerships, and ensuring Mazzella<\/a>‘s teams are positioned as the go-to experts in every market they serve.<\/p>\n
