Handling Systems International, Inc. (HSI)<\/a>, a leading American manufacturer of overhead material handling systems, today announced the purchase of a new 350,000-square-foot headquarters and manufacturing campus in Bedford Park, Illinois.<\/p>\n

The new facility marks one of the most significant milestones in the company’s nearly 70-year history and will consolidate HSI<\/a>‘s two existing Chicagoland operations into a single location. The expansion adds approximately 250,000 square feet of manufacturing, warehousing, and office space, providing the capacity to support the company’s continued growth for years to come.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1957, Handling Systems International<\/a> has grown from a family-owned business into one of North America’s leading manufacturers of jib cranes, bridge cranes, gantry cranes, workstation crane systems, monorails, and ergonomic lifting solutions. Today, the company serves a nationwide network of crane distributors and industrial partners while remaining family-owned through three generations.<\/p>\n

“This investment represents far more than additional space,” said Jake Rehor, President of Handling Systems International<\/a>. “It strengthens our ability to serve our customers, expand our manufacturing capabilities, and continue investing in the future of our business.”<\/p>\n

The Bedford Park campus will become HSI<\/a>‘s new corporate headquarters and primary manufacturing facility, with the transition taking place in phases over the coming months while maintaining uninterrupted operations.<\/p>\n
