Dr. Lasse Eriksson, has been appointed as Cargotec’s vice president, digitalization as of 1 December, 2015. He will report to Cargotec<\/a> CIO Soili M\u00e4kinen.<\/p>\n

Before joining Cargotec, Lasse Eriksson worked in Konecranes Plc as technology program manager, and prior to that, at Aalto University, Finland, where he coordinated the research of wireless automation and wireless sensor systems.<\/p>\n

Lasse Eriksson has been a member of the Fimecc (Finnish Metals and Engineering Competence Cluster) steering group, and the chairman of Fimecc’s “Novel Solutions” strategic research theme area that concentrates, among others, on the research related to the industrial internet.<\/p>\n

“Lasse will have a critical role in leading Cargotec’s digitalization initiatives and supporting our businesses in building their digital capabilities further,” said Soili M\u00e4kinen.<\/p>\n
