The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) is seeking a diverse group of occupational safety and health professionals to join<\/a> its team of presenters now being formed for its Safety 2026 Professional Development Conference and Exposition.<\/p>\n

The world\u2019s oldest professional safety organization is an industry leader in promoting best practices that make safety an integral element of business.<\/p>\n

Successful applicants will be notified by Feb. 27.<\/p><\/div>\n

Safety 2026 will be held June 15-17 in Anaheim, CA. Presentations should address key occupational safety and health issues as well as emerging matters and innovations relevant to the profession. Speakers have until Sept. 10 to submit their proposals to contribute to next year\u2019s event.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur annual conference is a dynamic learning and networking experience that helps attendees expand their knowledge, find solutions to safety challenges and learn about the latest trends,\u201d said ASSP President Linda Tapp, CSP, ALCM, CPTD.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhether you\u2019re an industry newcomer or seasoned practitioner, there\u2019s always something more to learn to better protect workers at your organization.\u201d<\/p>\n

All speaker proposals for Safety 2026 will be reviewed by ASSP\u2019s Conference Planning Committee. The group\u2019s evaluations consider a range of factors such as a speaker\u2019s presentation skills and experience, desirability of the topic, and alignment with conference objectives. Presentations are in person for one hour, including 15 minutes for questions.<\/p>\n

The committee will consider no more than two proposals per speaker.<\/p>\n
