Tracked Carriers is rebranding as ACONDA Industrial Carriers<\/a>, as it looks towards a new phase of global growth. ACONDA<\/a> is already seeking distributors in North America.<\/p>\n

The company is a leading manufacturer of high specification, tracked, load-carrying machines. Its products remove the need for manual handling, reducing labour costs and increasing productivity.<\/p>\n

Tom Cannon, owner and director of ACONDA<\/a>, said: \u201cWe are pushing the boundaries of what is possible with these products. It\u2019s therefore important that our new name fully reflects our reputation for innovation.\u201d<\/p>\n

The name change to ACONDA<\/a> comes as the business expands into new premises in Essex, enabling it to ramp up production to meet growing demand. Over the past few years, the company has evolved from serving the UK market to exporting its products around the world. It now has authorised distributors in Europe, Scandinavia and Australia.<\/p>\n

ACONDA is already seeking distributors in North America.<\/p><\/div>\n

ACONDA<\/a> will retain the Tracked Carriers brand for specific products. The machines\u2019 ability to transport long and bulky loads through tight spaces helps simplify installation projects and makes them ideal partners for mobile cranes.<\/p>\n

Features include customisable carrier beds, low ground pressure and stair climbing abilities, and compact designs with low carrier bed heights for increased stability and ease of loading. The machines are hydraulic-free, with minimum maintenance requirements.<\/p>\n

Recent innovations include the 4000 Pro, a compact all-electric crawler carrier with a 4t load capacity. Weighing less than 1t, standard features include a powered rotating deck which can extend to 2m x 3m to accommodate larger loads.<\/p>\n

It almost doubles the maximum carrying capacity of the Pro series, which previously ran to 2,200kg. And when used in tandem with Tracked Carriers\u2019 Super Dolly, the 4000 Pro can carry up to 8t.<\/p>\n

The first customer for the 4000 Pro was Cobra Lifting Services, a specialist spider crane hire company covering London and southern England.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe 4000 Pro has helped us to deliver contracts that other contract lifting companies said were impossible,\u201d says Clint Price, director of Cobra.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe recently completed a utilities job to remove and replace a 2.5t transformer located around 500m from the road down a steep slope. Several other crane companies had turned it down, but the 4000 Pro managed it with ease.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have worked with Tom since 2019 and have several of his machines on our fleet now. \u00a0They are the best carriers in the business. \u00a0We have tried other makes and, in our experience, nothing compares to them.\u201d<\/p>\n
