Konecranes<\/a> has achieved the internationally recognized IEC 62443-4-1 cybersecurity certification for Port Solutions and Industrial Equipment products offered to container handling, shipyards, process industries and general manufacturing customers.<\/p>\n

The IEC 62443 is a series of standards\u00a0addressing cybersecurity for operational technology in automation and control systems. The certification reflects Konecranes<\/a>\u2019 role as a forerunner in the industry for secure product development processes.<\/p>\n

The milestone builds upon Konecranes<\/a>\u2019 strong commitment in delivering safe and secure material handling solutions to its customers, following the earlier achievement of ISO\/IEC 27001:2022 certification for information security.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the certification aligns with Konecranes<\/a>\u2019 commitment to comply with both existing and forthcoming cybersecurity regulations, such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act, which sets forth new mandatory security requirements for companies providing products with digital elements to EU markets.<\/p>\n
