Eudmarco S\/A Servi\u00e7os e Com\u00e9rcio Internacional has added two more customized Konecranes<\/a> reach stackers to its fleet at the Port of Santos terminal in Brazil.<\/p>\n

The Konecranes<\/a> SMV\u00a04638\u00a0TC6H and Konecranes<\/a> Liftace 4532 TC5 were ordered in early 2024 and delivered later in the year in November.<\/p>\n

Both of the new reach stackers are fitted with the latest driveline or transmission technology, enabling up to 10% fuel savings compared to older models. Load-sensing pumps and an automatic acceleration feature for hydraulic movements reduce the need for engine revving \u2013 helping to cut carbon emissions. Eco mode further enhances fuel efficiency and extends the lifespan of the equipment.<\/p>\n

Built with the same chassis as the top-selling Konecranes<\/a> SMV 4632 TC6 model, the two new reach stackers come with the addition of power-damping capability. This allows operators to lock the tilt of the spreader, which is useful when the ground is not flat or when loading containers onto a train.<\/p>\n

With the new Konecranes<\/a> SMV 4638 TC6H, Eudmarco\u2019s operators can stack up to six 9\u20196\u2019\u2019 containers in the 1st\u00a0row and up to five 9\u20196\u2019\u2019containers in 2nd row \u2013 significantly increasing capacity and operational efficiency at the terminal. To increase stability and safety, this crane model comes with larger 18.33 tires.<\/p>\n
