Hoists in two of AMH<\/a>\u2019s most popular product ranges \u2013 its LA series of lever hoists and MA series of hand chain hoists \u2013 include US-made load chain. AMH<\/a> also assembles and tests them in the USA. The LA hoists are available in any lift lengths, in capacities from 0.75t to 10t. The MA hoists are also available in any lift length with capacities of 0.5t to 30t. Both are readily available to ship from AMH<\/a> warehouses, even 20t and 30t units.<\/p>\n

Many of these capacities can be retrofitted with self-locking hooks, which are becoming increasingly popular as users don\u2019t want to be exposed to OSHA citations for latches that came off during rough use. Although AMH<\/a>\u2019s forged latches are more durable than some others in the market, they are still more vulnerable to come off compared to self-locking (positive locking) hooks; making them ideal for customers who want to go above and beyond what a standard latch would offer.<\/p>\n

Another common OSHA citation is for hoists being used with missing warning labels. AHM<\/a>\u2019s lever hoists come with stainless steel name plates featuring the required ASME\/OSHA warnings etched onto them. AMH also offers overload protection via a one directional slip clutch that will only slip in the lift direction.
