Liebherr has named Hirohito Imakoji managing director of Liebherr USA, Co., the mixed sales and service organization based in Newport News, Virginia. Imakoji jointly shares executive responsibilities with Kai Friedrich, managing director for U.S. operations.<\/p>\n

Imakoji joins the Liebherr USA executive management team, working together with Friedrich, also the divisional director of earthmoving and material handling technology.<\/p>\n

In his role, Imakoji will oversee the strategic planning and execution of growth strategies for all corporate, finance and administrative functions integrated in the shared services at Liebherr USA, Co.<\/p>\n

Imakoji brings over 17 years of experience working within the Liebherr Group. He began his career as an intern with Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH in 2004 and transitioned to a full time employee in 2007. He later moved to Liebherr-Hong Kong (Hong-Kong, CN) in 2010 and Liebherr-Sunderland Works (Sunderland, UK) in 2011. He most recently supported Liebherr-Electronics and Drives GmbH (Lindau, DE) as Managing Director, Finance & Administration.<\/p>\n

Born in Osaka, Japan, Imakoji was raised in Salzburg, Austria where he attended high school and Univeristy earning a degree in Business and Economics. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor sports.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
