A1A Software<\/a> has named more than 100 crane and rigging professionals that achieved 3D Lift Plan<\/a> certifications in 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Individuals who achieved Level 1 Certified User, Level 2 Certified Professional, and Level 3 Certified Expert represented a variety of users.<\/p>\n

\u201c3D Lift Plan<\/a> is not just for crane rental companies,\u201d said Tawnia Weiss, President of A1A Software<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Steel erectors and fabricators, foundation and drilling contractors, industrial rigging and millright companies, foundation and drilling contractors, as well as general contractors and government agencies were among this year\u2019s list of Certified Users.<\/p>\n

\u201cI especially want to congratulate the 27 people who became Level 3 certified. They are able to use all the features of 3D Lift Plan, create complicated multi-crane lifts, develop a critical lift plan, record a video of the lift, create advanced rigging plans, and more,\u201d said Weiss.<\/p>\n

One of the new Certified Experts is John Oros, Operations Manager-Steel Erection for Phoenix Fabricators and Erectors, Avon, Indiana. The company is one of the premier providers of elevated water storage tanks in the country. Heavy and tandem picks with limited setup space is typical for water tower installation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While Phoenix Fabricators and Erectors usually hires crane rental companies to do the lift, 3D Lift Plan<\/a> gives them more information to guide the crane selection and enables the company to create the rigging plans and other documents customers require.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat used to take a couple of people three days to do, we will now be able to create in a few hours with one person,\u201d said Oros.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Oros had attended a few of the online classes and soon realized that the Boot Camp would give him the tools he needed to master 3D Lift Plan in just a few days. \u201cThe experience was excellent and well worth my time,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Training Options<\/strong><\/p>\n

You don\u2019t have to be a crane lift planner to find aspects of 3D Lift Plan<\/a> useful.<\/p>\n

Rigging Designer, Sketchpad, and Lifting Tools, such as Crane Loads Calculator are all available as individual apps. These are tools that are useful for anyone doing estimating, project management, rigging planning, and coordination with other trades. In addition, 3D Lift Plan certification levels are progressive so that users can get the most out of 3D Lift Plan<\/a>\u2019s web tools, reports, and customizations as their knowledge increases. Users must pass knowledge and practical exams at each level to become certified.<\/p>\n

A1A Software<\/a> provides free weekly online classes to help beginners, intermediate users, and anyone wanting to learn how to use the web tools. Advanced courses can be booked by appointment. In-person, three-day Boot Camp classes are available four to six times per year. Boot Camps take place at the A1A Software<\/a> headquarters in Fernandina Beach, Florida and cost $850.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
