Hensley Beverage Company<\/a>, Phoenix, Az. has selected supply chain execution software specialist Softeon<\/a> to provide an integrated supply chain solution suite for sales and direct stores delivery. The system comprises modules including warehouse management, route accounting and mobile solutions.<\/p>\n

Tony Keffer, vice president, operations, Hensley Beverage Company<\/a>, said: \u201cA warehouse management system coupled with operational process improvements was identified as one of our biggest opportunities for productivity improvement. We reached out to several distributor sites on best practices during our selection process. We came away very impressed with the productivity improvements the Softeon<\/a> system was helping these businesses deliver on a daily basis, including wholesaler operations comparable with our size and scale.\u201d<\/p>\n

The system provides real-time visibility across the entire supply chain, over the web and through performance dashboards.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe system is very powerful, easily configurable and rapidly deployable, and is consistently providing quick gains across the board, thus, making it a hallmark solution for beverage distribution,\u201d said Gana Govind, president of Softeon<\/a>. \u201cWe are pleased to have Hensley Beverage Company as a new addition to our Anheuser Busch Inbev wholesaler customer base.\u201d<\/p>\n

Omar Perez, controller at Hensley Beverage Company, said: \u201cWe have found the Softeon Route Accounting system allows for very detailed configuration changes to be made and delivered quickly using a rules based approach. It provides us with a seamless platform approach for all enterprise functions\u2014transactions flowing from DSD and the WMS to fulfill order-to-cash, purchase-to-pay, inventory, sales, general ledger and business analytics functions.\u201d<\/p>\n
