Cargotec<\/a> has appointed Casimir Lindholm president and CEO as of 1 April 2023, until when Mika Vehvil\u00e4inen will hold his position.<\/p>\n

Lindholm has held CEO positions both in Eltel and Lemmink\u00e4inen and many board memberships, bringing a wealth of experience to Cargotec<\/a>. He has been a member of Cargotec<\/a>‘s board of directors since 2021, and due to his appointment, he will no longer be available for re-election in Cargotec\u2019s AGM on 23 March 2023.<\/p>\n

The remuneration of Cargotec<\/a> CEO consists of a fixed monthly salary, fringe benefits, and performance-based incentive programs in line with Cargotec<\/a>\u2019s remuneration policy. The CEO\u2019s retirement age is in accordance with the applicable legislation.<\/p>\n

Vehvil\u00e4inen was appointed as Cargotec<\/a> CEO in 2013. Cargotec<\/a> announced on 20 December 2022, that Vehvil\u00e4inen had informed the board of his intention to retire from Cargotec<\/a> during 2023, in accordance with the terms of his CEO service contract and that Cargotec<\/a>\u2019s board of directors had initiated a search for a successor for the CEO Vehvil\u00e4inen.<\/p>\n
