{"id":10525,"date":"2022-08-05T01:06:58","date_gmt":"2022-08-05T01:06:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/news\/?p=10525"},"modified":"2022-07-22T13:11:01","modified_gmt":"2022-07-22T13:11:01","slug":"dica-moves-to-new-hq","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/news\/dica-moves-to-new-hq\/","title":{"rendered":"DICA Moves to New HQ"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/dica-outrigger-pads\/\">DICA<\/a> has moved to a new headquarters and manufacturing facility in Urbandale, Iowa.<\/p>\n<p>This will double the company\u2019s manufacturing capabilities for both standard and custom products.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA consolidation from multiple facilities in rural Iowa to a large, single manufacturing and office space enables us to provide an even higher level of customer service,\u201d said Kris Koberg, CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/dica-outrigger-pads\/\">DICA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to investment in new equipment, the facility expands warehouse space for its full line of outrigger pads, crane pads, cribbing, access mats, and sling protection products.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is part of our strategy to keep products in stock and available for immediate shipment,\u201d said Doug Herman, COO.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA larger inventory combined with our strategic location near Interstates 35 and 80 improves logistics, reducing transportation costs and speeding delivery times for customers,\u201d he said. By centralizing all activities in the Des Moines metropolitan area, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/dica-outrigger-pads\/\">DICA<\/a> has access to a greater talent pool and makes it more convenient for customers to do business with the company.<\/p>\n<p>Herman joined <a href=\"https:\/\/www.findadistributor.com\/item\/dica-outrigger-pads\/\">DICA<\/a> in 2021. He has more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution operations of industrial equipment and products.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoug\u2019s strength is in manufacturing processes and control initiatives. He will make sure our production has the capacity to meet future needs of customers,\u201d said Koberg.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The company began its move to the new Urbandale headquarters at the beginning of year.
