Heartland Communications Group has named Katie Holt as the new editor of Lift and Access, effective Feb. 21.<\/p>\n

Before joining Heartland, Holt worked for three years as a marketing communications specialist at Altec, a leading provider of products and services to the electric utility, telecommunications, tree care, lighting and sign, and contractor markets.<\/p>\n

Altec\u2019s access and lifting products include truck-mounted aerial lifts, boom trucks, and Effer knuckleboom cranes.<\/p>\n

At Altec, Holt was the company\u2019s copywriter, responsible for overseeing the blog and editorial calendar. She also helped manage Altec\u2019s internal communications and public relations, in addition to supporting marketing efforts throughout the company.<\/p>\n
